DRINK MORE WATER
As we unconsciously perspire all day, the body loses water vital for the funtion of our organs. Due to this, a person should drink at least two litres of water consistently everyday. When we’re dehydrated the body tends to diverts the water available to crucial organs, such as the heart and liver. In other words, your pores and skin are not given biological importance, and not being tended to enough. Boosting your intake of water ensures that there is enough water — which is needed for skin cell formation — diverted to the pores and skin.
USE OLIVE OIL
Extra virgin olive oil contains sturdy antioxidants that help defend the skin from pollutants. It also combats the oxidising effect of the sun on our pores and skin. Skin oxidation creates more pores and kills off our skin cells, leaving what’s left of our skin thinner and growing old. Applying virgin olive oil to the pores and skin after sun exposure may also help protect the skin against damage.
Exercising encourages the renewal of pores and skin, because it promotes blood flow to the skin surface and allows easier absorption of vitamins. Thanks to the blood being pumped around the body, it is easier live skin cells lying deep in the pores are pushed up to the surface of the skin. This facilitates the creation of a fresher, younger appearance because the cells sit higher up at the pores on the skin’s surface.
GIVE UP SMOKING

STAY OUT OF THE SUN

LEMONS AND LIMES
Lemons and limes are excellent source of Vitamin C which is an antioxidant, defending the skin cells from oxidation and ageing. Just like Vitamin A, Vitamin C found especially in citrus fruits are essential for the production of skin collagen.
Lemons are also rich in bioflavonoids – a biologically active compound especially found in citrus fruit rinds. This compound helps improve the tiny, blood capillaries beneath the skin and helps to prevent unwanted breakage.
HAZELNUTS AND BRAZILNUTS
Nuts are high in essential fatty acids, and supports vital fatty acids already present inside skin cells when consumed. Essential fatty acids help replenish collagen, moisturise the skin and promotes pore and skin firmness. Nuts additionally include anti-inflammatory properties to help make sure the skin remains clean and free from pimples.
